.:Comfort Zone:.
People have been talking about comfort zone What exactly does it means by comfort zone?
It definately cannot be sitting in the Comfort Taxi right So, I went to dictionary.com and did a search and came back with two results
1) the temperature range (between 28 and 30 degrees Centigrade) at which the naked human body is able to maintain a heat balance without shivering or sweating
2) an environment or situation in which a person feels secure or at ease; also figuratively, an established lifestyle in which a person feels comfortable as long as there is no drastic change
Personally i think they probably refers to the second one
Maybe for an example, when two persons were to be together for a long period of time They know each other's backgrounds, personalities, character, friends, family, habits and etc very well They accept each other's short-comings They forgive when one made mistakes They compromised and committed to their promise
They are then, each other's comfort zone.
So, if one day they were to separate and move on to someone else, which they have to re-adapt to someone new But when this someone new doesn't perform as good as the previous then they will yearn for their comfort zones
Do not be mistaken I don't encourage anyone to compare
But is hiding in your comfort zone a good idea? Do you think you still love your comfort zone OR its just a place where you have a sense of belonging? If you think you still love your comfort zone then why move on? Why move on when you still treat your comfort zone as priority and your new partner an option?
